Tennis Shoes
I desperately need some new tennis shoes for working out! I was wondering if anyone had any favorite brands. What works better and are more comfortable for a "bigger girl"?

I've only ever bought New Balance...
But my mom just bought a pair of Brooks and she seems to really like them. She said that they take some getting use to because they are suppose to help stabilize your ankles better. And they do make them wide or else I know she would never buy them!

I have a super narrow foot so New Balances are too wide for me, even the narrows.
I personally like Nikes and own way too many pairs of them. Just not the Shox though. They hurt my ankles.

I have nike shocks that I am favoring right now. I have a really busy job and they are great. I really love new balance also but as stated earlier...my feet have gotten so thin that they are just a little too wide for me now.

For a straight up walking shoe, I love Brooks. I just got the new Under Armour cross trainers for everything else I do at the gym and I hate them. Maybe it's just my foot, but it digs into my big toe on my left foot. I know, wierd, but besides that they're just ok. I love New Balance and will be going back to those when I can afford some! I think the cross trainers are the 622's but I'd double check on that one...

I am an Under Armor brand for running(I have a boney narrow foot now- altough it didn't used to be that way.) I really like Asics for a general cross training type for shoe- has good support and holds up well. Make sure you try them on- even within the same brand, they can vary so much- everyones feet are so different.
Happy shoe shopping.
