T-Tapp
Just have to share this, saw an article in People Magazine about a gal that lost a lot of weight. She dieted and worked out, got most of her weight off then found T-Tapp. I was intrigued so I looked into the website. I read a bunch of stuff, tried some of the moves that they show on the site, and then ordered the Total Workout system.
I started on June 10 and did a 14 day "bootcamp", just means I did the total workout for 14 days in a row, and have done various workouts too. I have to say that this is by far the BEST workout dvd that I have ever done. I was skeptical at first and actually thought it was kind of cheesy but it has really kicked my a** and in 20 days has smoothed out my back so no more muffin top!!!
It's called T-Tapp because the gal is Teresa Tapp. She's unbelievable. I watched a seminar dvd last night and it was amazing how knowledgable this woman is and how these moves, though small, make such a huge difference. Has a lot to do with the lymphatic system and body alignment, so I feel great too.
Anyway ~ I rarely "plug" things, but this has really made a difference in a really short period of time ~ even for someone who has been very active and avid about working out. Give it a look, maybe someone else will benefit too!

I was wondering the same thing. Its hard for me to get to the gym. I have one kid that plays soccer and two that are all up in my business (wouldn't have any other way), and get VERY upset if I'm gone for too long. Yes I know they should deal but whatever I'm a sucker! Anyway how did you order it was it expensive and is it something you don't need a ton of space for?

I ordered everything on their website, ttapp.com, and I actually called their 800 number to order additional dvd's a week ago and the gal was really nice and helpful.
I initially ordered a Total Workout package, which I think was around $140 and that has like 8 dvd's, a book, and this skin brushing brush and info. You don't have to order all that though, you can start off with one dvd or even just the book (it has all the exercises illustrated with step by step photo's too).
The best thing is that is can be as short as 15 minutes or 55 min. for the total workout and you only need a 3 foot area, basically just enough room to stretch your legs out for lunges. Very good for doing at home. There is also a dvd called Tapp Core that was put together for kids that a lot of schools use, I think in Florida.
Look up the website and they have a forum too that would probably answer any questions you may have. I love it, in fact today I started a 30 day challenge they are doing through the website so I'm psyched about doing well for that!

Yep, good ole isometrics in a new package! Any workout works if it motivates you to do it consistently and keep it up.

I totally agree with you Marie.... through the years I've done a whole lot of different ones!
For some reason this T-Tapp thing has really struck a chord in me though. I've been doing it now for 2 months and have really gotten great definition in my arms and shoulders ~ without weights, which blows my mind because I was lifting weights before. Plus I just really like the founder, Teresa Tapp, because she doesn't "push" her stuff .... I'd never heard of her before.
The T-Tapp website is informative and there are a lot of results of different people losing all sorts of inches in the first couple weeks, etc. I for one though have not lost anything significant, but I measured yesterday and did go down an inch in my waist and 1/2 an inch in my hips. Doesn't sound like anything but I'm encouraged (my waist is small so I was surprised). The best thing is I just feel so much better, I know due to all the breathing in the workout - really inhaling deep and exhaling deeper, great for trimming the torso alone.
Anyway ~ glad to share any info I can! The only other "lifestyle change" that I really think is a great program is "Body For Life" by Bill Phillips.... more of a hard core wieght training/cardio program, but you can fit it to your needs as well.
I think the key in all of this is, to just move your body and push yourself every now and then. It's always good to step out of your box every now and then!
