Default Yoga

I've been doing yoga for a week now and I have to say it makes me feel so good. I feel loose and energized after doing my routine. I do it in the morning before I eat. This morning, I drank a cup of freshly juiced veggies and did the yoga. Then I ate and got ready for work. I feel alot less anxiety about going to my stressful job after doing yoga.

Does anybody else here do yoga or martial arts?

I used to loooove doing yoga - I think I was into it for about 7 years -- a few of those being very intense hard core yoga - I wanted to bump this thread because - I want to know if anyone has word about intense workouts that include lots of mid body stretching and squishing like yoga - is this safe post op?

I was told not to overdo it, but to continue my mild yoga. And if it hurts, stop or dial it back.

Yoga is not only an awesome exercise for the brain and creating a sence of calm and balance- it works so well on aligning the body and you really tone up when you do it. My sisteR has a great set of arms- all from yoga- If you work in a high stress job, or even the stresses from those 4 munchkins running around under your feet at home- I strongly suggest taking a class and seeing how you like it. Do one thing for me though when you go- You need to toally forget whatever you are leavingto get there- be it the screaming kids or project due tomorrow. Use the time you are there to your untimate body cleansing relaxation- exercise period.

This isn't a real thread. Original poster is just a spambot trying to get people to click on the links in the signature.
