Thanks Kelly. I think my water shoes are dry rotted anyway.

Seems like water aerobics classes are popular!

I am signing up for a water aerobics class in July and I'm starting swimming at the municipal pool this month. I haven't swum nor worn a bathing suit in about fifteen years. I am a little nervous, but I am also at the point where I want the toning and workout that water can provide without the joint stress.

Target is where I found a great suit. I always need a bigger top than bottoms, thanks to my ample busom, so I hate buying entire suits - I prefer two pieces so I can mix and match sizes. I found a tank top style top at Target that doesn't show so much cleavage, and little short-like bottoms that cover more than your average suits. I am actually excited about wearing it.

Good luck ladies, and good for you for putting on suits after all this time.

I went to my water aerobics class tonight. The 6 week session actually starts next Monday, but I went tonight to "try out" the deep end water aerobics, since I'm not sure if I want to take that or the shallow end water aerobics.

Well...my ass is kicked. It lasted for 1 hour and 15 minutes and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it. It's been about 2 hours now, and I have muscles hurting all over my body. I can only dread how I'm going to feel tomorrow morning!

Tonight was "abs night"...I feel like I've been punched in the gut by Mike Tyson.

Even though I'm bitching and complaining, I actually enjoyed it! I absolutely hate to sweat, and with water aerobics, all of your sweat gets washed away.

I went to my second class this morning. I really like it. I hate sweating, too, so that's one reason I like water aerobics. I think the deep end class sounds like so much fun, though. I wish they had that here.
