Helena....that is awesome!!
Now I'm wondering how long I could hold it for.
I'm trying to talk myself into going to the gym today, just to walk and do the elliptical. That's all, I'm just not in the mood....and haven't been for about a week now.

I have that! I haven't tried it yet..it does look interesting though. I just keep forgetting that it's there. I haven't even taken it out of the box yet.
The items we have are Wii Fit, Wii Sports, Deca Sports, EA Sports Active (personal trainer).

I bought my EA Active today and I like it alot. I'm not too big on the resistant bands so I think I'm going to buy my own.. I'm in school and work full time and don't have time for the gym until I graduate in February so this is great for me! You should try it out its fun! =)

Damn me and my lame a$$ memory! Here I posted that the rental thing was a great idea...then what do I do...go to walmart, stand there and debate $40 for Jillian or $50 for Active...I like Jillian - she's good....I've heard good things about the other...why can't I get both...ok, I'll get Jillian.
Um, what happened to trying it before buying it Mel???
I did some of the exercizes on Jillians...and I guess "so far" I'm not really all that impressed. It doesn't pick up a lot of the movements, and the instructions for what they want you to do specifically aren't all that great. It's taken quite a bit of trial and error to figure out what it needs for the action. My daughter was frustrated with it at first (she's 14)...but buggered around with it for a few hours one day and finally got some of it down. I haven't touched it since...need to remind my self to pick it back up in the evening to replace the gym right now.

I absolutely love the wii fit and wii active I also love DDR. For the most part I work out 3 - 5 days a week but do wii fit and wii active daily and try to get in at least an hour of DDR 3 or 4 times a week they're all so fun that you really don't realize you're exercising. I went through the first 30 day challenge on easy when I first got active I'm now on my 13th day on Medium of the 30 day challenge. I find it to be a very good workout, I'm typically sore the next day a bit. With the wii fit I've really not been doing as much as I used to on it before the active I tend to just do about 30 mins a day on it now focusing 16 mins on jackknives (crunches) and the other 14 on yoga. I do really enjoy it though.
Have any of you ever used DDR to work out? It's such a fun way to exercise I have a hard time realizing how long I've been dancing because I think it's just so much fun but I tend to have a lot of problems walking the next day if I'm not careful how much I do I think it's because we have tile floors and the pad I have just does not have much cushion at all.

What is a DDR? I just got my Wii last Saturday, and I'm learning all of this stuff on it now. I actually like it a lot. I just don't know what DDR is.

DDR is Dance Dance Revolution
My wife wants the Active game, and I've been seriously considering now that I hear it really does work you out a bit. I like it more than Wii Fit because it is easy to cheat the running on Wii Fit. The leg band idea seems like a good one.
