I do the treadmill 3 miles every day and then at night also walk the dog 1.50 mile.
My town has things they offer the citizens for cheap.
Swimming aerobics twice a week and that cost me $20 dollars for 20 sessions for an hr.

Do you have a wii? I just bought the wii sports active and it has a wonderful workout routine. I am still sore 2 days later of course I also went to the beach and swam a lot on sunday the day after but even so it works great and the wii fit is good as well. You may want to try the YMCA as well they have a program depending on how much you make and can reduce your fees.

Do you own a R35? They are sick! I'll post pics of my obsession if you promise to post yours?
I'm a die hard car nut. You running aftermarket anything on yours? I know several owners running exhaust+software and are very happy.

Bike Trail
We have a bike trail here in Morehead City and I am going to try walking it. (2.5 one way) Of course, there is always the beach to go walk on, although beach walking is difficult on my left leg.
Still, gotta love the ocean!

Most YMCA's have financial aid available. Just talk with them.

No YMCA
We have no YMCA here. Isn't that a bummer?

Twisting will help shed inches around your waist. Walking will help you shed pounds. The weights will help tone your arms. The squats will work your butt & thighs.

I totally agree with this, but I recommend starting with 5 lb weights. Mine fit with velcro around my wrists (and ankles when I choose to do that). I have the kind that have little pockets in them that 2 lb weights fit into, and I graduated from 4 lbs on each wrist to 8 right now.
You can lay on the sofa and watch tv, and flex your arms back and forth and up and down, using those wrist weights. I like the sofa, I guess, because I use the weights on my ankles and lift my legs in various directions while wearing them.
They are inexpensive, but I can't remember how much they were. They are the least expensive of the various things I have tried, and they are very effective.
Best wishes,

I can't afford a gym membership either right now but I just mentioned it to a couple of my friends and have gotten hooked up with a whole bunch of equipment and free passes from different gyms. Check out craigslist too you will be amazed at what people are giving away! I got an eliptical for free cause a woman just didn't want to bother moving it!

I am getting into Personal Training, here is hat you can f=do to help you if a gym is not in your reach....
5- 10 min cardio ( got steps climb up and down them for 5-10 min) get the heart rate up
Then lunges 3 sets of 10 for each leg,
squats 3 sets of 10,
Push up 3 sets of 10
Sit ups/ crunches 3 sets of 10
couple cans of soup or beans and use them as a little weight or get a thin 32 oz bottle of water freeze it to make it heavier and use this it does help, anything that will fit in your hands that have some weight.
Lift hands up as Bicep curls, lift above the head and als lift them back behind you to work out those arms.
Get a jump rope
Jumping jacks,
use a dining room chais and place hands on seat behind your bottom lower yourself as low as you can then back up do 3 sets of 10
Leg lifts
lay flat on the floor knees bent lift pelvis for a count of 10 then relax do this 10 times for 3 seoparate sets
lay flat on back lift legs and pretend you are riding a bicycle for 5 minute rest adn do again.
end you session with 5-10 minutes of cardio again.
also can pick out 5 exercises and do 30 minutes of cardio.
Remember do not do the same exact routine everyday your body will get acustomed to the work out and it will not benefot you like a work out should.
Hope this helps you and anyone else looking for exercise but can afford a gym membership.
