Default Omg!!

I went on the elliptical for the first time since surgery. Pre op I couldn't go 5 minutes without panting and burning in my legs. I went for 30 MINUTES!!!! I was sweating like mad, but I still wasn't even panting or hardly short of breath. HOLY SHIT!!! Sorry I was just so excited. I had been going for pretty intensive bike rides and I guess they did better for me than I had thought. WOW!!

I could have went longer but they have a 30 minute time limit on those machines.

Thanks to everyone. I guess it goes to show that every little thing helps more than you think. And it comes at a great time too because I'm finally starting hockey on Tuesday, and if anyone seen the thread I posted a while ago about it I am super excited to be getting back into it after 10 years.

Default Cycling is king

I left my heart rate monitor on yesterday and found out my resting heart rate is about 42 - that is totally from cycling. I am SURE that is what helped you on the elliptical and I am so happy for you. It feels awesome, doesn't it??

Congrats and keep us informed!
