Default The Devil Lives at my Gym

oooooow!
I just let my sister drag me to a total fitness class! What's that, you ask? Well...it's HELL on earth! First they get you all out of breath so you feel like you're gonna collapse, then they put weights in your hands! They work whatever muscle group until you think your arms will fall off, and then they get you all out of breath again! On and on it goes for an HOUR! We do cardio....arms....cardio....shoulders....cardio... ..abs....cardio....legs. If I had trouble getting my fluids in ever, today was NOT that day! Water water water water! I do have to admit, even though I may not be able to climb the stairs for several days, it feels good to have kicked my ass at the gym! If I can't get out of bed tomorrow...somebody please remind me that I said that. lol

Congrats on accomplishing that hour long class!!!

When you're not able to move without groaning tomorrow...we'll remind you how great you felt tonight!

Seriously...keep up the great work!

I took a shadow boxing class like that and just when you thought it was over they made you jump rope for 5 minutes! But like you said I did feel good afterwards

Probably like whip-lash...you'll feel it on the 3rd day!

How ya feeling now? If you're feeling good...go back and work out harder! If you're hurting...then do it again!

Just started the "balance ball/core work-outs"...and boy is my tummy muscles sore!! Guess they're getting some kind of work-out!

I am a little more sore today, but nowhere near what I expected! Feeling pretty good! Going spinning tomorrow! That will be interesting, I haven't been spinning in months!

Don't forget, if you do a grueling workout, you can minimize the pain by having some protein afterwards and doing a light workout the next day - even just walking, to get the muscles to release lactic acid.

Great job!!
