Default X Vest

Just wanted to share ~ I thought I was pretty tough.... do my 2 mile loop (hills and all) every morning at 5am and sometimes a 5 mile loop on the weekends if I'm at our ranch, but I decided I need to step it up a notch and bought an X Vest (weighted vest). Of course I couldn't just get the "standard" 20 pound version, had to go with 40 pounds instead.

Let me just say that 20 pounds kicks my @ss! I never would have thought 20 pounds made that much of a difference! I lift weights every other day too, but something about strapping that vest on makes a world of difference! It's a love/hate relationship right now at week 2, but now I can't imagine doing any cardio without it! I'll just have to build up to the 40 pounds though!

I just dragged my DH's old free weights to a garage sale... (FREE FREE WEIGHTS)... surprised at how heavy 28 pounds (just two wts in the set) were... and I've lost that plus another 42! I'm not sure I could even carry 70 pounds across the room, let alone everywhere with me 24/7!

wow... no wonder I feel so good now!

Default Thanks Jeanie!

Yeah, I don't know if I could add anymore right now!
Wedding is coming along... I'm amazed how time is flying by, kind of scary!

We have our moments and it's been an adjustment with me moving in and just the stresses that come along with planning, etc., but we seem to pull through. Thank God we go to a family counselor - he offers great advice and has helped tremedously. My son just came home from NC on Saturday and it's been great having him home. (we started seeing the counselor so that we could make this easier for my son and because Bill has no children). So, all is okay....

Just need to step it up for my first dress fitting on Sept. 5th!!! that scares me

How's the little princess doing???

How's the little princess doing??? She moves a lot except when I really wanted her too. We went for a 4-D ultrasound and she slept and kept her arm up and in front of her face the whole time. We all tried to wake her up, but she just wasn't having it. I was like great she's already stubborn. My Dad said YEP just like you!

Default Girls!

That is too cute! Of course she didn't do what you wanted her to do! She's hiding her beauty until the big day!

We got it done again last night and she showed her pretty little face. She's beautiful (if I say so myself). She's got chubby checks already. I'll try and post pics of her soon.
