Default aches after first workout

So, I am 11 weeks post op today. Yesterday I started with the personal trainer. I am in so much freakin pain - it is worse than I felt after the gastric!

How did you get through the beginning stages of awakening tired old muscles?

I started slow and took a lot of warn not HOT baths .. I learned that sore muscles need warm not hot and got a lot of massages from my hubby.

I also wear really good sneakers, which for me made working out a LOT easier on my poor feets ..
And I also let my body rest at least 24 hours before working out agan, giving my poor couch potato muscles time to repair. The pain you feel is the taring in the muscles.

Dont give up.. The more muscle you have the higher your RMR is.. which helps a lot burning fat.

hang in there, dont quit, its only bad for the first two weeks as you work each muscle group, it does get better if you keep at it, you wont be sorry you did, i am so thrilled with my loose skin results due to exercising, it beats going for skin surgery any day, that was my motivation, results without surgery, but then i liked it so much i have gone into bodybuilding

it does get easier, that is all about i can tell you...i dont like warm baths and such so i just whined it out and kept going

so proud of you for starting with a trainer, you will be so glad you did, its great to have some direction
