Kinda the shitty part about loosing alot of weight. I lifted weights and worked out like crazy and still had a ton of it after all was said and done.
if he says ok then i will join .i have to wait 4 medicare and medi-cal 2 kick in and ssi, so i can join a gym. There is 24 hour fitness ,ballys and la fitness.I just dont know ,maybe i'll get a pass at all of them.If a person gets a lap band can a person eat cottage cheese and vegies, salads, fruit,(these are my favorites,i love veggies)i can't wait till i am stronger. Genes are huge - and what I found is that certain areas on certain people do better than others. I lucked out on my face - thank GOD, but my tummy...oy. My arms are nearly fine, but I got them very muscular. I don't know if that helped...but it didn't hurt. Time in the gym makes anything you've got a little better and if you do have plastic surgery, it is really cool to acutally see the work you've done showing!

Good luck. and hey - it is still better than weighing 300 pounds! or whatever.

Heh, totally the genes. I'm like the opposite of you. My tummy is nearly fine except a small bit of skin on my lower abdomen (what does Van call her tiny panni? A panito?), but I am most self-conscious about my arms. They are pretty muscular, too (though not as good as yours!) but there are enough stretch marks and sagging around my arm pits that I don't feel really comfortable wearing sleeveless shirts, which sucks!

When people get liposuction (and probably some other procedures as well) they send them home in a body suit that is supposed to help their skin firm up and bounce back. Does anyone think something like that might work? I would wear one of those under my work uniform and to bed, no problem!! Wonder where I would get one...

Hey Jen...
I just found a reconstructive surgeon in Denmark that takes the fat from lipo (when we go have our flab removed they do lipo 1st) & puts it in the boobs!!!
Since we have national healthcare here, implants are self pay. He's had great success with it. You have to wear some kinda weird ass bra for several months post op, but, hey...

I was a 44HH before, now I'm a 36H. And it's all skin...The girls are lookin' sad, sad, sad...

I have to maintain my current weight loss (for a year!) or continue to lose before I'm approved for surgery. At that point, I may only have 2 skin colored empty socks hanging there...
Scarey thought...
