Thumbs up Great Thread!

There is so many things I have missed out on....

If I had to pick one it would be learn to surf. I'm a CA girl and was always too fat to surf. I cant wait! I also want to hike and do anything outdoors!!

I always thought surfing would be fun too but I'm afraid of deep water and sharks.

My goal at the beginning of this process was to run in a 10k and snowboard again. Well, I've snowboarded, which was wonderful, and I've run a very hard half-marathon.

So...my goal is now set much higher. I have signed up for the Marine Corp Marathon in Washington DC this October. I want to run it in less than 3:45. To qualify for the Boston Marathon, I would have to run it in less than 3:15, which is asking for a miracle in my first marathon. Training has been grueling, but it is very rewarding.

To Play Softball With My Husband, He Has Played Softball And Baseball His Whole Life. I Have Always Been To Heavy To Run The Bases. I Cant Wait To Get Out There. I Would Also Like To Be Able To Ride The Jet Ski At The River. I Dont Do It Now Because I Would Not Be Able To Get Back On If I Fell Of In The Middle Of The River

I won a trip last year to Montana. I did all kinds of stuff for the first time (white water rafting at yellowstone, Driving Military Hummers offroading, Horseback riding) It was a heck of a trip, but would of been so much more enjoyable 100 lbs lighter. Wish I had a do-over.

I would like to be able to keep up with my 3 year old and be one of them Mom's that are physically involved in all my lil girls activities instead of being on sidelines watching.

Go to my 30 year HS reunion at the same weight that I graduated HS at. That will be cool!

Oh FRANCES!!!! A woman after my own heart. Can I add to the list? Last time I was in America, I was 165 kg/364 lb. I had to use a seatbelt extension thingy. Hopefully, I'll be 75kg/165lb by August. Also, I can't wait to go home to Mags' (my beautiful daughter) wedding & have my fat, middle-aged ex & his frumpy wife have a GOOOOOOOOOD look at me. Sick, maybe, but hey gotta work it OUT, eh?
