Exclamation Dancing classes

I don't like to work out. May be that is why I never really exercised before. I was so afraid that because I don’t like exercise I will not be able to do enough of it and loose weight before my surgery. So I collected all the courage I had and joined Latin Dance class. And I LOVE IT!!! I want to do it every day now! Don’t get the wrong impression – I am terrible at it, I was never good at things like that. And of cause I am the only “big” girl in the class. I figured everyone will think about how bad they look, and I should not give a damn about what people think anyway! Right? It’s being two months now, and I feel like I am getting a little better. Now I am trying to get my daughter to dance with me at home … unfortunately she is 5 and her patience runs out in 10 minutes or so

I dare to dream that after surgery when I loose 100 pounds or so I will go out dancing And I might actually look good at that dance floor! Who is with me?!

Good for you! I'm actually considering taking belly dancing lessons.

I am looking for a latin dance class around me to enjoy... I'm not one to "work out" in a gym, so I think it's also gonna help me shed the pounds!

I'm also gonna jump in my pool as soon as I get the OK from the surgeon to do so...! I don't look great in a bathing suit YET... but I will get there. I plan on spending lots of time "working out" in the pool in my back yard, too.

I think that sounds like a lot of fun! I've always wanted to do that but I didn't have a dance partner. Do they pair you with somebody? I love watching Dancing With the Stars and would like to give ballroom and latin dance a try!

Once I move to VT, my fiance and I plan on taking lessons.. his sister & BIL are gorgeous BR dancers.. they go fairly often, though with the new border rules, I don't know how that's been impacted.. they usually traveled to a place nearby in Canada. (they all live WAYYY up there).. The two of us were planning on tagging along as well as getting lessons.

There is a "Dance Camp" for grown-ups, also in VT.. if I could afford to do it, I'd love that.. looks like a blast!

Years ago, I used to take a jazzercize class.. loved that too.. wonder if there are any locally and affordable? hmmm..

(I just noticed you're from Boston.. I'm about an hour, by train from Beantown )
