Need a GOOD-Fun Exercise Video
Any suggestions for a GOOD exercise video. And where would I purchase it?
I need something that would be hard enough to be my MAIN source of exercise - because my treadmill's motor burned out!
Not hard enough to kill me though.
Thanks,
Mindy

I'm not gonna be much help here 'cause I really hate exercising (though I do it!!). Someone mentioned walking CD's by ? Sansone that I purchased at Target. Haven't tried this one yet...but she said they were really good! They have different levels you can use with different distances.
You must be exercising like crazy...you burnt out the motor!!! Yeah!!!
How have you been doing post-op? Been a little over 2 weeks per your signature...

To be honest, I have the Biggest Loser dvd and it kicks my ass daily. I got it at Walmart. I have also been tivo-ing the Denise Austin daily workout in the mornings and doing them in the evening. I like doing them because she changes it up every day. Good luck

I agree with soon2bthin, Denise Austin has good workouts, I like her. FitTV has alot of programs that are good, bad thing is they break for commercials but I did a yoga one the other day that was fun, I couldn't do all the positions but I tried.

I love my Leslie Sansone walking videos. You can get them at Walmart, Target, Best Buy.... I have been walking with her for years.

We're partial to Dora the Explorer. We do the Dora workout about 4 times a day. This is how it works:
- Put Dora on.
- Put baby in front of television.
- Chase baby around the room as she grabs things she shouldn't have.
- Clean up after baby when she vomits or throws milk on the floor.
- Pick up all the toys she threw across the room.
- Pick the baby up umpteen times to soothe, change diapers, or tickle.
- Chase the baby when she grabs the remote and starts pressing buttons.
- Sing the f***ing backpack song 15 times.
- Do the troll dance.
- Chase the baby while singing about finding the highest mountain in Spanish.
- Wait for the Lo Hicimos song and then collapse on the nearest piece of furniture.
- Wait 5 minutes, then repeat.
Guaranteed this will kick your ass.
-Mike
**Note: you may need to borrow the baby. Just let us know!

Well I don't know of any FUN workout DVDs but I do know that the Dance Dance Revolution games are a lot of fun, and they give a great workout no matter what your skill level is. Before I screwed up both of my knees I was a DDR machine. You should check them out.

Well, I have one called Turbo Jam, and I love it. Its a cardio kicboxing kind of video, and its a lot of fun. I just go the biggest loser scupting video, but have only tried it out once so far, so I can't really so how I'll like it yet.

Tae-Bo
I haven't done them in a while, but I lost a lot of weight doing Tae-Bo videos at home (Pre-GBS). They aren't too cheesy and they have several different levels on the same DVD. It was the only one I found that I could handle everyday. All the other ones got on my nerves - especially the ones with the tiny blondes who talk to you like you are in the first grade. "Come on, you can do it, one more set!" Geez...I'd rather be fat than listen to that everyday.
