I typically sweat after a workout but since the surgery I have not either. I thought it was odd the other day I worked out hard and nothing.

I don't sweat, either. I can work out with DH and he'll be pouring sweat and I'll be dry as I was when I walked in the gym. DH thinks I'm weird, glad to know I'm not the only one!

Heh! I find this question amusing -- since I was a small child, I have been a competitive athlete and always in the gym/on the track/on the ball field/in the dojo (well, until 7 years ago when I had to quit sports due to law school and started gaining weight...). No matter where I was, when I was working out I sweated so much that on hot days I looked like I had just come in out of the rain, LOL! When I got fat, the sweating just got worse, and more often. I came to hate summer, when it used to be my favorite season. Well, after surgery, I was sooooo excited! I had stopped sweating almost completely! Even when I was on the elliptical machine for a whole hour, I just had to dab my brow a bit and that was it. Well...sadly, that passed after around 4 months. I used to be freezing cold all the time, too, but that has regulated a bit more as well. I now am back to sweating pretty heavily at the gym, though not nearly as bad as when I was at my heaviest, of course. I have no idea why the change came. I don't eat anything particularly different, though I am getting in more protein than I was in my first few months. I don't eat sugar, which someone once told me made our bodies burn hotter...no clue. Boo hoo!
