I'm down to the last 4 pounds to lose before I reach my goal of 145. My surgeon originally said 130 and I thought that was too low for me. I don't know where my body will level off and stop losing...I could very well get down to 130. I'm 5' 6.5" and folks are calling me skinny now...makes me wonder what they'll call me if I lose another 19 pounds.

I still feel fat. No, not as I once was, but the flabby skin and the extra tummy skin keeps me from wearing proper sized clothes. Exercise lately has been what I can get in during the day and nothing at a gym. (long story, I have guardianship of my 10-year old granddaughter now)

On the subject of being called skinny...it's weird, I actually take offense to that word now. I'd rather be called slim or trim.

Gina, you're right about eating more food. On days I barely eat I actually gain a little weight and on days it feels like I stuff myself I lose. I lose when I eat pasta or a small baked potato. Guess I need some carbs in this old body!

We're gonna rock this world with our healthy bodies!!

Teri

Woohoo!
Still Here! I'm down to 172 now. That's about ten lbs. since this thread started. Really looking forward to spring temperatures and getting outside more. One of these days I'm going to do a nice hike at Mohonk. I'm jealous that you're so close to there Gina.

Default I'm IN

I'm in on this one too and can majorly relate to Debz, I do have the ovaries though and just when I see progress, I'm up again right around THAT time of the month. I was at 146 then my period came along and I was up to 150 again, but now I'm back down to 145.5 (yeah, that .5 really counts!).

Anyways, I'm in with you guys. My goal is anywhere between 104-140 (that's considered 'normal' for me at 5' 3"). But, honestly, I'd like to be in the 130ish range. My goal used to be 140. My birthday is April 10 and I'd like to be 140 by then but... it may be pushing it.

I am walking on my treadmill every other day. I used to go to the gym but hate it. I prefer to exercise in private or outside walking.

Hopefully, we can all get this done together and I love this thread - thanks Gina, this is just what I needed, a good kick in the arse to get mine going. I also found I was not eating enough and when I eat more I lose more.

Hugs,

Kimberly

I do, however, have ovaries, so I do have a cycle. I think I'm pre-what used to be menstually bloated, but...I've also been eating more slider carbs the last week or so. But not 5 ounds worth of 'em. Maybe it's also some water weight...as my sliders have been salty things...Chex mix seems to be haunting me these days.

Anyhow, we're going to Jamaica on the 19th of April...and I'd sure love to be 150 by then. That would put me at 5 pounds from my first goal of 145...Been thinking that maybe I ought to decide my next goal is 135. I'm a 10 right now...145 would probably be an 8. Which used to seem like winning the weight loss lottery. But now...a 6 seems like it's within my grasp now.

So...I have 5 days off starting Friday. Gonna give the 5 day pouch test a spin and see how it goes. I'm swimmimg 2 nights a week...and I walk 4 nights a week for an hour. I am doing 300 sit ups nightly, and I do my stepper for 25 minutes 5 nights a week also. Been including some light weight training at home also.

Glad I found this post. Y'all have given me the motivation to git 'er done. Thanks! Hey Gina...2 things...What kind of heart monitor do you use? And where did you get it? And...one of these days I'd love to meet you. You live so close...
