Teri, congrats on the weight drop. I am hoping w/aquafit and the fact my period has arrived...there could be hope for Monday's weigh in. I did eat Chinese food tonight...and had a Valentine's Day cookie earlier...it took me all day to eat it..a bite here...and there....but I did eat it. Oh, Teri, aquafit is a water exercise class at Gold's. It's fun!!! It's an hour class in the pool. We move a lot! We use water weights, noodles, and do lots of kicking and crazy stuff!
Gina, congrats on the size 8 pants! I saw your other thread w/photos. You look awesome!!! Amazing difference!!! Way to go girl!!! You are so dedicated. I am not really in love w/exercise...but am trying to do better.

Gina,

I'm 5' 6 1/2" I may try on a different style of pants this weekend to see if 8's fit. It's just mind blowing to realize I'm THAT small. Unbelievable!

My weigh in day is today and guess what........ I lost 1lb! Finally the scales moved, I just hope that it keeps it up. I am now only 23lbs from my goal of 130. Gina, looks like we are neck and neck! The race is on!!!

I started back to the gym, and I really do feel so much better! I don't know why I haven't gone....I guess you get out of the habit....and it's easy to become a slack ass. That said, I actually gained....up to 163...but am hoping it's just a fluke...I'm going to switch up the food and see what happens. I think I'm eating too much sodium/carbs, drinking too much Starbucks and not enough protein & water. So, we'll see how it goes. I'm going to Forida April 4th, so want to lose 10 pounds by then!!! (1st goal) Then another 10 by summer time!! So, it's a new day, and I need the strength to not go to Starbucks. I don't know aobut that one... (Mama is weak...)

No secret!! I use my Cocoa Latte maker!!

2 cups non-fat milk
Instant coffee - I don't measure anymore...just pour it in.
Turn the machine on and it heats the milk and coffee up nice and hot.

4 pumps of sugar free Starbucks vanilla syrup and 3 or 4 packets of splenda into my travel mug (I have a big one)...add the milk/coffee when it is hot and put the lid on and SLIGHTLY shake...you know...I just turn it upside down and few times to mix. YUMMMMMMMMMMMYYYY...and no more $6 plus a day at SB...cuz you know I had to always get the Reduced Fat Cinnamon Swirl cake too.

Just stay away from the "inos" as I call them - you know, mochacino, frappachino - all the inos. I actually only get house decaf - spenda, milk - the joy of starbucks with not too many calories. (I mean there are some in the milk...but I can't get too fussed about that) lates are too much milk for me anyway - I get all gummed up and can't run or ride as hard.

Default ok...I'm in...

Ok Guys,

I just saw this post for the first time. I am 6 months out and have let too many carbs and sugar in...I can tolerate just about anything..(recently the Girl Scout Cookies came home...I am the leader and my house is filled with cookies....so I need to completely abstain now or I'm done for...), so its very hard. You guys are motivating me.

I am going on my cruise on 3/22...lets see how much I can lose between now and then....

Starting now....this moment...I am in

ready....set....go....

I can't seem to quit Starbucks....It's like crack to me!!!
I do have the Cocoa Latte maker, and I use it, I like it, but I still find myself going to Starbucks during the day. Today I had 2!!
So, once again, starting March 1st, I am going to try AGAIN to quit. Crap, I had an easier time quitting smoking, drinking, and Vicoden than I'm having quitting Starbucks!!! What the heck?????
