Default Walk Away the Pounds...

Has anyone done these workout videos? Please let me know if you have and if you have had success with them. I did the 2 mile this morning and am not convinced yet I got much of a work out. When I walk outside I get a major pain up the side of my left leg and usually feel a little stiff and sore, I am not complaining because I do not hurt... just wondering if it gave me a workout. Not sure if I should repeat tomorrow morning or find something more challenging. I was sweating at the end of it...

Thanks!

I have the 4 mile walk and love it. Granted it has been a while since I used the video but I should break it out. Thanks for the reminder. I remember one time I had my DH do it with me and he could not finish the video. If you feel your not getting much of a work out try and speed up your pace a bit.

The only one i've ever seriously done or believe in was "get ripped in 90days"

although the tae-bow stuff I hear good things about. Also the joga stuff that has you doing light handheld weights.

I started with Walk Away the pounds about 3 weeks after surgery and did it until I got a trainer and started going to the gym at 8 weeks. I think it is a great way to get your exercise and a good starting video if you haven't been very active in the past.

I still do it every once in awhile but now I incorporate the weights and to the longer walk at a faster clip.

I actually have a lot of her videos. I love them...great when the weather is icky or you don't have time to go work out (like I do that. ) and if you get the weights or band they are a total body workout.

You can get some of them at Walmart, QVC (which I wouldn't recommend) and she has a website http://www.lesliesansonevideos.com

Default ok... I think it is a workout...

I got up again this morning and did the 2 mile and I feel sore now. Not a bad sore... but the kind of sore when you know you did some physical activity. The part I like is I can do this right when I get up in the morning in the comfort of my own living room. I am going to do it again tomorrow morning. Then this weekend hopefully get outside for my exercise

Thanks for the advice on this!!

Thumbs up Imo

Hey LuLu, I do not have the cd's you mentioned but I have seen them.I just wanted to say that I am 31 months post op and all I have EVER done for excercise has been walking.
No gym mebership...just walking.
I am pretty toned and have pretty decent looking legs.

Have fun and keep moving,
