Default Plastics plunge

So im only like 12 days from my plastics date. I gotta crunch in alot of workout between then and now.

Today was 3200cals. Tomorrow I need to hit 3500. I've also cut back on my eating and im only eating 3000ish cals a day until surgery. Its only been 3 days of workouts but, its working. I was 209 and now im 206. I should be 200lbs even right before I go under the knife. Thats my goal anyways.

Gina how's you're stuff coming girl! Me and you both gotta hit it hard these last couple of weeks.

Default 1300 in, 1100 out

I ate 1300 cals today - trying REALLY hard not to have anything the rest of the night, but I'm blown from my ride tonight. Did a 16.4 mile bike ride after dinner, burned 650 calories, but I was dragging by the end - Did 15 of the same trail yesterday and I was jazzed.

Also did an hour and 15 of group active training, burning 450.

The scale actually said a bit higher today - that pissed me off, but it will work out soon.

Unfortunately, DH is gone tomorrow, so it is going to be hard to get over 1000 calories burned.

I'm trying John - I really am. It takes me more than 3 hours to burn 1300 calories..sigh...

Yeah without alot of muscle mass it takes time to burn the calories. Its all about heart rate. You are doing so great. Its wonderful. Hopefully after you're plastics when you start back you can work towards average 150+ heart rate workouts. You will really be kicking it then.

I really couldn't be more proud of your effort. Tonight I actually went to the gym instead of my neigborhood or local park ect. I did an hour on treadmill and 40 min elipitical then 30 minute bike. Then I swam some laps.

I really had to work off alot though cause I was planning on atleast a 2500cal workout but, then I prolly ate about 2,000cals worth of chicken wings with sauce and stuff. So I had 4500cals I needed to ditch. If I wanted to still loose weight in the morning.

I'm close but, I don't know if I'll make it. I'll prolly be like 203-204 in the morning and I wanna be 200 by tuesday so I might miss it by a 1lb or so. Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. is my surgery date.

Wish me luck arghh.

What do you mean without a lot of muscle mass? I'm a freaking rock! I've got a nice ring of fat around my middle, but that is what the plastics are for. Baby - for 5' 3", I've got muscle mass! (Think you hit my ego there John??) I can't EVER burn as many calories as you because you're 10 inches taller than me! Harumph!

You're going to be fine going into plastics. If you lose 5 pounds afterwards, it isn't like you're suddenly going to be flabby!

I'll try to connect with you later. I'm still in a tizzy over my heart monitor thing...AND I actually weigh more this morning than yesterday. That just doesn't seem possible...

(mouth on the floor) How do you manage to do this? Do you just work, sleep, exercise, etc. with a chicken wing hangin' out your mouth? LOL That is a funny mental pic....hehehe But seriously! I would LOVE to eat just two chicken wings. I know that much would probably fill me up. I LOVE them and I can't even get one down. I have tried over and over. I just can't get it chewed up enough to go down and not hurt or feel like a rock stuck in my chest. I know it's not a stricture, but just that it is chicken because I can eat other things and don't have this feeling. Man, I wish I could eat a chicken wing. I'm jealous! How do you eat so many to get so many calories in? I just didn't think it would be possible with a pouch the size of ours. Did I mention how much I LOVVVVVEEEEE chicken wings!?!?!?! LOL

Yeah you will stablize some with the muscle. You really need to watch what you are putting in. I didn't mean to offend you with muscle mass talk. I didn't mean you didn't have any. I just mean you aren't a man and you aren't built like me. I prolly have 4-5 times the muscle mass that you do. So if we were doing the exact same exercise I would burn alot more. Thats all I was saying. I was trying to tell you, you are doing great. lol. Maybe it sounded like I was telling you, you need more muscle. lol. You don't you're a women you aren't supposed to have tons of muscle.

Well you have to remember that from about 30days off i've been able to eat whatever I wanted too. Its only the volume that I couldn't do. In the past couple months though i've been able to eat more and its been great. I ate about 16 wings or so. Maybe 17 I can't remember. It was great for my workout though I felt like I had gobs of energy to burn(cause I did) so my workout went really well.

Eating has never been a problem for me. I was 1 week post op eating chicken and veggies. I eat very balanced normally but, last night I felt like eating a plate of chicken wings so I did. Its really not a big deal you can eat anything in accordance with how many calories you burn a day. Its all about calories in calories out. I burn quite alot of calories during the day so for me to eat 2,000cal meal isint really that big of a deal.
