Today.
10 min treadmill
5 min cross-trainer on a hill program
10 min reclining bike
45 min "body-blast" class (never again, have decided I'm not co-ordinated enough for any class that involves using a step!)

Could I have a number please??

Thumbs up Getting into the routine of working out

I'm glad to be here! I joined a gym last month with my DIL, but must say we had not been "faithful". Then I decided that whether she goes or not, I MUST go because this has to become a part of my new lifestyle. Now I'm one of those that takes their gym clothes to work so I can go straight to the gym! When I don't, I walk the track near my house.

This is cool!
I'm definitely a Gym Rat!!! I go 6 days a week, and love every minute of it. My Gym is Sports & Fitness Edge of Williston Vermont. Fantastic people, both staff and members. Besides weight room, they've got indoor batting, and driving cages/ranges, tennis courts, field house, and elevated track.....and competition swimming pool, program pool, and hot tub......towel service included
Anyhoo....I NEVER thought I'd be a gym person...never. But, determination, and a fantastic head doc...and i'm there, and it will be a part of my life from now on. It has become an integral part of my day
I just got my Insurance approval today...thank you Blue Cross. I hope to hear from the doc to schedule the OR.

So......I'm proud to join up and call myself Gym Rat #94!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott
Oh yeah.....I've been going since Oct 1, and am now down 33 pounds.

Well, yesterday I tried something new...a nature hike! It was just 3 miles, but with the hills and big trees to climb over it certainly felt like more. I only fell in the mud once so I'm happy. This time last month I wouldn't have made it 1 mile, so I can imagine what I'll be doing after surgery! I haven't gotten to the point where I'm sold on exercise, but I'm making myself go.

Reached my new goal of 130...and I think I want to stop losing now. "Stop losing now".Wow, I never thought I'd ever say that!
Looks like Donna is right though. My body doesn't seem to be done...

I joined the work softball team and we had our first game Monday night - boy was I sore Tuesday! I didn't workout yesterday, but I took this crazy class at the gym today. It's called Diesel - man, it kicked my butt! Can't wait to do it again next Wednesday.
