Default Golf - anyone?

I just started playing Golf, I'm not a pro or anything, but how long after surgery before I can go to the driving range and hit a bucket of balls or go out on the golf course? I'm going for the laparoscopic procedure, so I'm assuming that I would have to hold off on golf until about the 6th week out. I will definitely ask my surgeon, but what are your thoughts?

Not really sure, I know they don't want you to do abdominal exercise til 6 weeks out or so.

I didn't play for a long time but, honestly 6 weeks out you can do alot. Normally speaking anyways unless you have had serious complications and in such case I would advice you seek the advice of you're surgeon and doctor.

personally I started playing a little again with friends. I think you shouldn't have any problems at all and should go for it.

I started working out pretty seriously 3 weeks post op just fyi. I think it depends greatly on you're complications level or not. The only one I had was drainage out of my hole in my chest. So nothing really major. I just worked out anyways.
