it does say how many calories I am burning... but I just dont believe it. I dont think everyone burns the same amount.. I figure I burn 76 calories tying my shoes... that thing said I burned 76 calories in 15 minutes.. I bet.. it would say that no matter what the person weighs..

Default Yeah, 'fraid so

If it's not asking you to enter how much you weigh, then you're right, it's not completely accurate, as it's giving you (usually) the standard for a 150-170 pound person.

However, walking is walking, and it's grand--I really believe part of my success has been because I went into the surgery fit and as healthy as I possibly could be for a 303-pound woman.

That has been one of the only frustrations about losing so much weight. I used to burn a LOT more calories per hour!!

Everyone will burn at a different rate. But, the heavier you are...the easier it is for you to burn. Buy a polar heart monitor. Put the strap around you're body and wear the watch. Dial in all you're info and you will never look back. It will give you all the information you need.

Tell me about it. I could burn 2,000 calories no prob before. Now I have to kill myself to reach those numbers. But, as I kept increasing my workouts my weight never slowed...so its all realitve.
