Pilates Anyone?
Hey, does anyone here do Pilates? I want to try that. Everyone I know who takes a pilate class has the same look. They all have an elongated and lean look to them. I hear it's a great workout, but non stress. Hmmmm? Anyone try it and like it?

Yeah absolutely I dab a little myself. I want to really really get into it cause its a great workout and all the stretching really helps me in other area's.
any man who thinks a pilates class is for wussies..lol. I urge you to step up to the plate and see if you can keep up.
Those women work it! And some of the more advanced classes can get quite nuts

Yoga and Pilates
Kick your butt! I'm going to get hot and heavy back into yoga, because there is nothing like this stuff. It shapes up your core like nothing else can and it is hard!! Getting into a position and staying there? Not easy.
You will love it! Most classes are really mellow too - there is no achievement issue, no judgement. Just come in, go as far as you can and next week, you'll go a little farther.
Good stuff!!

How funny, I knew the 2 of you would respond back! You guys are an inspiration. I think I'll look into it...My hubby even says he'll take a class with me. He's taken a "Hot Yoga" class for awhile. I don't think I'll ever try that, though. Putting my body in odd positions in a 90 degree room doesn't sound like fun to me!!

I love Pilates! I'm not doing it right now but during one of my thinner periods, I did it 3-4 days a week and the results were amazing. My tummy got firm, I was flexible like crazy. Would definitely recommend Pilates!

I have a video called pick your spot pilates for belly butt & thighs. It's nice to be able to do them at home too, although I suppose going to a class you would get encoragement from others and probably push a little harder. For me I can't do it everyday as it makes my tummy hurt too much. I'm hoping to eventually be able to do it a little more and more. Wouldn't it be great to have a flat tummy?

Oh yeah - I'm all over that!
I'm thinking I should start before plastic surgery, but I will definately go crazy on it afterwards! I have NEVER had a flat stomach - been overweight since the age of 8!
Dreaming - ahhhhh.... Can't wait!
