so that it stays on the same accuracy as it started on, please put the miles since March 2/07 - thanks.

if you like, you can do what duckie did and make a travel log and keep track under this exercise thread for a log, you can share your total miles covered throughout your journey thus far, that might be nice for others to see.

Thanks for clearing this up Carrie!!

Default You guys are terrific

I'm so sorry if you guys feel like I've abandoned this effort... but with the gall bladder attacks, I'm basically only making the few feet from the couch to the bed and back, so I haven't had much to add. I'm really pleased that you're taking the idea and running with it (so to speak... ).

haha no don't worry about it. I collectively log them once a month. I thought it was a general overall together type of thing where people put in what they have done. Especially since I saw the first post at 50 miles. So if you have done 60-70 miles these past few weeks( i noticed you've added to it several times) my hat is seriously off to you. Thats quite a run. I normally do about 30-40miles a week now. If I don't meet the rules then feel free to subtract what i've added and have fun with you're challenge.

no problem, my first post was for the first ten days of the challenge, i was keeping track as I could not find where to post it as the fitness challenge took a different direction than when it first started. Lisa suggested we do a running total of all miles, and so that is what this post is for.

This board challenge has now been on for 21 days. However, I am involved in another challenge with my gym, hence the intense workouts I never thought I would ever be capable of in my lifetime!

I think thats awesome though and a great part of all of it. You find when you really start pushing yourself you can do a whole lot more than you thought you could. That is certainly the case with me. I never never never thought I would be doing the stuff I do now. I was a tub of lard butt...quite frankly. Im glad im over with that part of my life though.

Its nice to see someone really pushing the envelope. Its aparent you are really getting after it and I think thats outstanding. If everyone took that outlook america wouldn't be in such terrible shape when it comes to weight. Congrats on you're new vigor and accomplishments. I don't browse this board very much these days but, when I do I will look forward to reading you're posts.

Keep up the great work and you guys have fun with this challenge. I think its a good idea.

Default speed walking anyone?

Hi all,

GREAT NUMBERS ALL! CONGRATULATIONS!!

I don't track how many miles I go but I'm trying speed walking 5 days a week.

Yes, it's a work out. Mainly because it makes you twist your waist and pump your arms and shoulders while you walk. So it works several muscle groups.

Anyone else?
