I have seen the biggest loser a couple of times and wonder how they can workout like they do without causing injury or dieing.
I also saw the couch to 5K website. I am going to check it out further and see how it goes. I think running a 5k would be excited just to say I have done it. It would be amazing to get that far.
I did get some New Balance shoes that were on clearance at the store to try. We don't have a lot of choices but I would like to try it.
My husband is a runner and he just keeps saying walk faster and then run but that just is not working for me.
I am going to try the interval way tomorrow and see how it goes. Hopefully I will see progress. I am afraid of not getting enough of a workout though. I keep doing the eercise bike and I feel almost addicted to it now. I know it gives me a good workout and I am afraid to try new things and not get the same amount of calories burnt.

I was never a jogger before the surgery. And I'm only really getting into it now. My doctor said it's best to wait till you are pretty near to your goal weight to do running, as it's SUCH a high impact exercise and can really tear up your joints if you are aren't in the right shape. Tonya, just keep working that speed up, keep working on the eliptical, keep on the bike. Eventually you'll find yourself able to handle it but give it time. In short, keep it up!
