Default Decided to join a new gym

The gym I originally joined with is a disappointment. They promised all kinds of updates/upgrades to the facility but nothing has happened. They don't have a pool either. THAT was supposed to be open last june. It still isn't open and now they are saying they might just put in one of those little pools where you swim in place. YAWN!
Anyhoo... I researched the YMCAs in the area and I can join the one in the burbs for a few more $$s than the ones here in the city and then use any of them (there are 3). I can try out each one and see which one I like the best. I REALLY REALLY need at pool. My back problems have kept me from doing much exercise. In May I'm having knee surgery and won't be able to do anything but swim. Soooo.. I'm gonna get off my ass and Join the Y! I know. Who cares. lol

i care - that is great, the key is finding a facility that you can you use to your full ability, no matter what that happens to be at the moment, and if its a pool you need, get one, that is great, so glad you are exercising any which way you can, great job.

The pool is exactly why I joined the gym that I did. They had aqua aerobics at the time I needed and I could do laps afterwards. What facilities they have a gym is very important.

You know we care!!

Yes he does. He actually uses one of the Y's I will be able to use. He made me get out of bed at 6:00 A.M. this morning so he could go to the gym before work. What the *^%$! lol I then drove home, hungover and tired as hell in a snowstorm. argh. I change my mind. Gyms are evil. lol
