Unhappy Needing support!

Hi all,
Here I am...feeling down today. Trying not to feel sorry for myself...just looking for words of encouragement. I am down to 207 now but I feel like have been eating too often and too much lately. I am relating it to stress and boredom!!! Also, been waiting to start my period...I feel like I have been PMSing for weeks now!!! It sucks being so damn irregular! I have been having an off day today...been feeling BORED and kinda depressed. I hope it passes soon. I think I am going to try to find a part-time job to help pass the time. I certainly do not want to sabotage myself by eating because I am bored. Can anyone relate to this?

I hope you all are doing well. Miss you!!

Karen,
I am sorry to hear this. I miss you and I am sure the move has been somewhat of a shock to your body. You are in a new area with a different climate and it can be depressing and exciting at the same time. That sounds wierd, but I think true. We are all here for you. I hope you feel better tomorrow. It will be a new day.

Hugs~

Wink Hang In There

Karen...even though I've never met you, you've seemed like a great "cheerleader" for everyone in this forum so try to hang in there. I think DaleM and angelav are both right, but I can relate to all of your concerns (stress, boredom, and PMSing)...these things all pass, sometimes it just seems to take forever...lol.

Staying busy helps me a lot so I would consider getting a part-time job, or even a full-time job, but I don't know your situation. I'm sure there are plenty of places that could use volunteers too. Just some suggestions.

I hope you're feeling better, you're going to be fine and it's okay to feel sorry for yourself every once in a while, but you've been given a new life, use it to your full advantage. And just remember, when you feel like you're at the bottom, the only way to go is up!

Take Care,
Pamela

Default Karen,

Head up girl! Look what you've accomplished this year!

Know that buying a new house, moving to a different city, having major surgery, missing friends, and pmsing is all VERY stressful! You do need an outlet to release all that stress. How's that support group in your area?

You know you've got us, always! My thought and prayers are with you to help you through! Just break on through to the other side, hey, that reminds me of a song.

(((((((((HUGS)))))))))

What do you call a woodpecker with no beak? A headbanger! haha

I hope those jokes made you smile...... I love your smile!
Sugar pea, I couldnt say anything more eloquent than those who posted before me. Consider this, before you know it, you'll have your bestfriend Tread Mill (we'll just call her Tre from now on) back and you will be exrcising and those feel good endorphins will come rushing back!

It was good talking to you last night, I MISS YOUR FACE! Im only a phone call away, you have EVERY phone number to locate me!

Default What kind of work do you want?

Karen,

What kind of part time job are you looking for? My sister manages about 13 properties in your area. Maybe she can hook you up...??

Karen:

The feelings you describe kinda sound normal for someone who has gone through huge family changes, is isolated from familiar surroundings and friends, and is in the middle of tremendous individual changes as well.

Give yourself a pat on the back--you're going through all these changes and you have STILL LOST 106 POUNDS! YIPPEE!

I think what other people have said about not isolating yourself is good advice. A part-time job might be just the positive influence you need. It will take your mind off negative things, give you a sense of accomplishment, and create positive feedback.

Remember you still have lots of friends online who are more than ready to talk and give advice--ha ha!

Don't forget, take good care of yourself too!
