You are both in my thoughts and prayers! It is always easier to do things on your own terms than be pushed into them and I wish that was possible for you. We are all here for you! Big hugs to you and your hubby! Please keep us updated on his status.

I want to Thank everyone for the kind words and it does help. You know the funny part is when I was going through the first 75lbs of weight loss he wasn't here but on the phone everyday 2 a day in Tx. He delt with my mood swings and everything never giving up on me. Now he did the liquid diet for 7 days and lost 24lbs. Let me tell you that guys go through a lot of the same things we as woman do. He was hard to put up with the last 2 days but I understand why. He is now on 2 small meals and one protein drink. I have him on all kinds of vit and things to keep him in good health. He has done a wonderful job.

One month from Friday we will find out what is going to happen. We talked over the weekend and he is going to go back in as long as he can get this weight off. I dont' see that being a problem I mean he even got up at 5:15 today to run something he hasn't done in about 3 or 4 months.

I grew up a military brat so I remember what it's all about. You know we saw the movie Jarhead this weekend and I cried because we got to talking about how many woman leave the men or cheat on them why they are over there. Am I wrong for thinking how and or WHY? There is no way knowing my husband is so far away at risk that being with someone else could cross my mind. I've love him way to much to risk losing him.

Sorry we had a busy weekend and this has all been on my mind and no one else seems to understand.

Whenever I think that the passion play that I call my life is screaching out of control, all I have to do is hop on line, and I can find someone whose life is more complex, more painful, more challenging than mine. It helps me keep my little problems in perspective.

The two of you have my respect and my best wishes. I think this whole Iran/Iraq business is bogus and have some strong feelings, as I'm sure everyone on here does. The one thing that I do recognize is that you and your fam put everything on the line everyday. To think of my love being halfway around the world in a hostile country trying not to get dead chills my blood. That's way too scary, and you all are strong beyond strong. My heart goes out to you, and I will pray for your safety and swift return to a complete family under the same roof. You folks are my heroes.

Tonya,

I'm wishing the very best for you both. I understand what you mean about how can someone even think about someone else when their loved one is in danger. My husband was in the Navy when we met and married, and it was very difficult for me to be without him, but it was just as hard for him.

Hey baby girl. Just want to let you know that both you and Star are in my thoughts and prayers. I know how tough it is to let go when they go over there (oldest son is in Iraq). Keep your chin up and have faith. I love you sweetie.

I also second that. You will be in my prayers...and we would love to hear updates. Thanks to your husband and your family for making such a sacrifice for your country!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I couldn't help but posting today because when I saw that movie and we talked about it all it just hit home. The wall of shame being for real and the guys reading and getting letters like that just amazes me. I never believed it could really be that bad. I thank goodness right now I have all your support and we see Nancy on Friday so I want to talk to her more about it all.
Thank you all for listening to me.
