Default They Found Him...

Ok, here I am again...with more news. After almost 4 years of running/hiding/evading/etc...the DA's office FINALLY found my youngest daughter's father. They served him with court papers in March and he lied to the judge about having a DNA test done. Well, in September the judge found out he lied to him and named him her father by default. He screwed up! Now he's got a court order to pay child support. Just wanted to share the news!

I just LOVE it when a deadbeat spouse is found, served, and flamed!
I'm sorry, but you have to be a Loon to lie to a judge! It only pisses them off and makes things worse (as we can see).

Now, make him squeal like a pig!

I'm very happy for you, especially for your daughter!

Brenda that is great. I hope that finally brings some peace of mind to you. Hopefully that will help so you don't have to work 7 days a week. That isn't fair. I hope the Judge makes him pay big.

Default Hmmm...

Thanks for all the comments, but to tell you the truth...I doubt I'll ever see one red cent from him. And that's not even the part I care about! All I ever wanted was for my daughter to have her father in her life, but I doubt that will happen either. He lied to me probably from the first word that came out of his mouth..."I had a vesectamy (sp?)." "I'm single." "I really care about you." ETC... But it's between him and God now. It'll be on his concience until the day he dies. I've done all I can to help the DA's office find him and now all I have left to do is take care of my little angel...and that's all that matters! THAT'S THE FUN PART!!!
Thanks again for the well wishes! It means alot!

Brenda, it sounds like it's definitely for the best that your daughter hasn't spent a lot of time with her biological father. Sometimes these things are a blessing!

I hope all works out for you!

Default Actually...

She's never seen him at all. The last time I even spoke to him was in May of 2001 and I found out I was pregnant in June 2001. I tried and tried to get a hold of him, but eventually had to just leave a message on his voice mail. Needless to say, after that he disconnected his cell phone. He doesn't know what a GREAT kid he's missing out on. She's so beautiful and so smart...but it's his loss!!
