Default Guess who's got a boyfriend...(kinda long)

Hello all! WOW...where's the time gone?? Last thing I knew it was September and now here it is November. There's so much I have to tell...I just don't know where to start. I guess I can start with the GREATEST NEWS EVER...I'M NO LONGER SINGLE!!! **SHOCK** And the funny thing is, he's my ex-husband. See almost 9 years ago, I met this guy, we started dating, if you can call it that. (We were both cross country truck drivers. Seeing eachother as often as possible, but driving for different companies.) One day we met up in Indianapolis, IN and he said "let's go get married." Well, what else could I say...of course I said, "YES!" 7 days later he went in for back surgery and I found out he had been cheating on me. Needless to say the marriage was over for me. He begged and pleaded with me to give him another chance, but I couldn't trust him anymore. He was a drug addict, an alcoholic, a very violent person, (not to me, but pretty much every truck stop he was in he ended up getting into a fist fight)...all in all a pretty messed up individual. No excuses being made here, but before he got into all this he had just heard that his younger brother had been brutally murdered. So, after we broke up, I told him if he ever wanted to see me again he'd better get some help. Well, he started seeing a psychiatrist (found out that he was suffering from severe anxiety...the reason for the violence and fighting), going to AA and NA meetings, and anger management classes. Now almost 8 years later...he's a changed man. A new man. And after being good friends for the past 9 years (almost) we've decided to give it another try. He's ready to get off the road and try to make things work with me. He's looking forward to starting over...and so am I. He says he's been in love with me since the first time he laid eyes on me, and that when he's not with me he feels that there's something missing from his life. I feel like maybe my life is starting to come together. I'm not going to get all wrapped up in the past, instead I'm going to focus on the future. I'm the happiest I've been in years, and just wanted to share this with you all. Thanks for listening (reading)!

Brenda that is great news. I am so happy for you. Everything happens in our lives for a reason. Apparently God has worked it out for you two to share your lives together. Big congrats on the 150+ pounds gone forever. Keep working that tool and the new life you have ahead with you honey. Smiles.

Thumbs up Congratulations.....

Hey Brenda...Looks like I am on my own in the flirting dept with Lil' Bill at Renegades huh?? a Professional Horse Wrestler...lol...that was an original one...lol but he was a very sweet guy not to mention not too shabby looking either possibly worth another trip out to the sticks just for the fun of it, I will have to remember that line "Its my birthday, can I have a hug" I think it would work great, even though I didnt use it I just straight asked for a hug cause I am bold like that...lol....well congratulations again and hopefully everything will work out with the two of you and maybe we can all go out again sometime.
Take care.

Brenda

I'm so glad to hear this from you. You know that my husband is an ex of mine and we went through so rocky times but you know when they are the one. We took a little over 3 years apart and were best friends for 1 almost 2 of those years and now WE are a HAPPY MARRIED COUPLE. Just make sure he treats you like the Queen you are.
