Hey all its me I just wanted to update ya I just received a call from the doctor with the blood test results from yesterday, My blood hemoglobin levels are EXTREMELY low something like 6.9 I have to take my iron 3 times a day and have it rechecked in 3 weeks and if it is ok then I just stay on the iron but if they are still low or at anytime I start to feel tired, drained or dizzy
(She was puzzled because I have been feeling just fine nothing abnormal not tired at all or not sluggish which she was shocked because my iron is sooo low) she said that if I start to feel the slightest bit tired, sluggish or dizzy then I will have to get a transfusion.....Niiiiiice.....she said she sould be calling me tomorrow to schedule the Thyroid Ultra sound ASAP she told me to stick to soft foods so it does not hurt as much to swallow. Well thats the latest. Thank you everyone forthe support and I will keep ya'all posted. Love ya guys.

Felicia, last months support group at Dr. Muellers we had a doctor come by and was stressing the importance of keeping up on your iron. She also was saying a lot of people who are about a year or two out end up having to have an Iron transfusion. Know that you are not going thorugh this by your self. Glad to know what is going on and can be fixed. My prayers are still with you. Stay strong and positive.

Try adding some iron rich foods in your diet too. It couldn't hurt. Let us know when your appt. is. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! Big hugs!!!!
