Bad news
My husband emailed me yesterday and let me know that he's being extended in Iraq for another 2 months. I was hoping he'd be home on time due to V-Day and our daughter's birthday. Doesn't look that way now. When I read the email I burst into tears. I didn't even respond to his email until this morning when I could look at it without crying. Thanks to our bank, and an ATM withdrawl he made, I know he's in Kuwait. Anyone mind if I have a pity party? How dare the navy screw up my Valentine's Day plans.

I am sorry to hear that news Jenny.....but I am also very greatful to him AND you for serving our country the way he does! It will be ok.....you can lean on us. (ps....my husband is boring on VD, so perhaps, we'll be in the same boat) LOL

awe Jenny, Im sorry to hear that I know how much you were looking forward to him being home. One big ray of sunshine in that dissapointing roadblock, you will look *that much* more fabulous when he gets here! I bet thats another 10-15 lbs you will drop before he arrives! I am sorry to hear that your husband has to stay longer. Look at it this way you will have two more months of losing to be even HOTTIER when he comes home! I know that prob doesn't help. I sure am thankful for him, and for what he does, and for you for what you have to put up with, because if it wasn't for him (and you) we would not be able to have the freedom that we do.

Oh Sweetie! Sorry for the bad news! There will be V-day next year too so try to think of it like that. Maybe you could send him a video of your daughters party and try to make things extra special for her this year. like Jeanie said that's 2 extra months of losing before he comes back so that will be neat. You'll be MEGA HOT! Sending big hugs your way and prayers for your hubby!
