Default Update on T.J. (Tudge)

T.J. had his surgery today!!! WHOO HOO. I just spoke with his wife and he came through to the loser side just great. She said the surgery went well with minimal bleeding. He is in pain, but at this point that is to be expected. He will be getting up for his first walk in about 40 minutes.

Congratulations T.J.!!

Thank you all for the well wishes - I got home this afternoon. I had some minor hangups with low o2 levels so I have to wear oxygen at home for a while - but other than that things went very well. I do have an extra drain into my old stomach for about a month that has to be opened at night while I am using my CPAP machine. The super high pressures could possibly inflate and damage the staple line ...

Anyhow I was just up for a short walk and thought I would let you know how things are progressing.

Thanks Again - i will be posting more info as I get to feeling better...
