I am so new here I am not familiar with Robin. I wish her a uneventful speedy recovery. I am happy for her as she begins a new phase in her life. It also made me start the countdown for my surgery.

I surprised her and called earlier.

No complications!

The procedure went off without a hitch and she plans to go home tomorrow! The nurses are proud of her - they ask her to get up and walk, and she does twice what they want!

One very determined young lady.

One more "Stapler Sister" to add to the membership!

I just got in from seeing my little sugar pea!

She said its pure hell and dont let anyone tell you any different.

I told her she's a wimp.

I did her make up and she's all pretty and ready for visitors! She told me to tell you all she made it and hello!!!!!

10/25/05 1:30 I just got off the phone with our lil darling. She is gonna take a nap. She had some broth, crystal light and now they get some sort of sherbert!!!! Boy I was jipped big time... they did lap pain pumps and sherbert after my surgery! <sigh>

Chris is there with her, napping also. Britt left not too long ago as well! Ms Robin is a busy girl I tell ya! OK so Im gonna let her sleep for awhile. All you fabulous folks take care.

P.S. Dara I told Robin when I saw her this morning all of your well wishes, hugs n stuff. She said thanks!

Robin says it's "pure hell"? Well, YEAH!!! We don't refer to it as "hell week" for nuthin'! She seems a lot like me in the respect that she doesn't like pain. Geez, I was poundin' that morphine button at least 50 times an hour. The nurse remarked to me that no matter how many times I pushed the button, it would only distribute the morphine every six minutes. Oh well! I felt a helluva lot better just pushin' that damned button! I used it as much as they would give it to me...AND I asked for pain pills to boot! I am NOT brave when it comes to pain. My advice to Robin--push that button, woman! Get those pain pills! There will come a time very soon when you won't have that luxury. Take it while you can! Bravery, schmavery...get the drugs! LMAO

I went to see Robin yesterday afternoon. She is doing great. The Loratab is making her very sleepy and she said she is in some pain, but had a smile on her face. She will be going home today and I will be seeing her again on tomorrow night.

I saw Robin yesterday as well and as Cindy said, she is doing well. She is a bit tired, but that is to be expected. Still in good humor and misses you all!
ps....I met Cinerbelle yesterday.....you sure are a pretty lady my dear! It was a pleasure meeting you!

I saw the princess yesterday as well. She was exhausted by the time I got their. I only stayed for 10 min then let her sleep. She was in good spirits but in pain. She goes home TODAY!

Speedy recover to you my friend. Take it slow when you come home today and hope to hear from you soon.
