Smile Update on Crystyll

Hi everyone I wanted to give you an update on Crystyll...

First of all.. Kim (Watergirl) and I saw her on Saturday afternoon and she was doing well. She was a little loopy from the pain meds and was cracking me up. She called me this morning and is not in such great spirits.. I tried to encourage her that she couldn't tell me she regretted it until next week.. since most of us know we all have that "what the heck did I just do to myself" feeling the first week out. I think I convinced her. I told her that the first week is like "hell week" in the hospital but she was kind of doped up and didn't remember that. So all you pre-ops don't be alarmed.. the first week does suck.. but after that it's all uphill. Just get through the first week and then decide how you feel about the process.. And as time goes by.. you definitely feel even better about the surgery and yourself. Right now I am on cloud nine!!! I weighed this morning and I couldn't believe the scale said 188 that is 86 lbs gone.. and 14 til I hit the century club!! I never thought this was going to work for me, but it has.. and it will work for everyone else as long as you keep up the support and keep honest..

Crystyll will survive this and so will everyone else.. I will update the next time I speak with her. She's a doll and I think the next time we talk she will have a different attitude.. since we all had that attitude right after surgery.. especially the first two days home.. ack!! Miserable.. but bearable..

Talk to ya'll soon..

Default Thanks For The Update

Hey Christina,

Thanks for the update. I wanted to go with you on Saturday, but you never answered my post. I figured you were too busy. Oh well, I'm glad you went and I'm glad Crystall made it through okay.

You're right. The first week sucks. She'll be just fine.

Stacie,

I'm so sorry, I guess I didn't see your post. Never too busy for anyone, just a little distracted these days.. sorry again.
