Default Awaiting Surgery date and The Cold has come back again.

Can you believe it. Having been sent home 2 weeks ago and my surgery postponed because of this blinking cold and other things. I recovered the day after I came home. Awaiting date, and now the cold has come back again. I think I'm cursed.

I'm going to have to start dosing up with all these meds again. Give me strength.

That sucks! Have you tried taking lots of vitamin c to give you immune system a jump? I would take it every day till the surgery!

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon! AND stay that way lol.

Sorry to hear your surgery was postponed. I do hope you feel better soon. I would definitely start some Vitamin C as mentioned above.

Corrine: No i''ve not. I'm wondering if my recent flu jab has anything to do with me having this cold. Is the zinc in tablet form?

I just take it in capsule form - just straight up zinc - not the cold the cold remedy stuff like Cold-EEZEŽ lozenges but they might be worth a try anyway.

Try taking echinacea as well as your vitamin c & zinc. All are supposed to boost your immunity & help you get better faster. Good luck!

Default Am I cursed?

How relieved was I when the cold seemed to be gone, gone, gone. Well, dared to go outside, took a trip to the hospital yesterday, my daughter dropped me there. It took about hour and half to be dealt with, so when I get outside its dark and raining, OMD's, I waited about 45 minutes in the rain for a bus in the drizzling rain - then finally got on a standing room only bus, then 15 minutes later, waiting for another bus. I got home freezing and damp. Immediately, I had a hot bowl of soup, and got warm - heaven.

When I woke up in the early hours of the morning, there it was again, wheezy chest and drip, drip, drip to the back of the throat. So I'm taking this Benylin Mucas cough which is suppose to loosen chest mucus and the pirition to try and stop the drip, drip, drip.

I've got my pre-assessment on the 20th and I surely don't wont to be in the same state as last time, cause I'm sure that will cause another cancellation.

Could you make this up?
