Some of the turkish/moroccan/african/mexican men still want some of that too tho lol. Around that weight I was getting hit on about 10 times a week. I attribute a lot of that to my confidence level as well. I looked really cute and was doing my masters... felt intelligent and beautiful and loved at that time.
I've never been below 220 in my adult life tho (I think I subconciously sabotage myself because of all the male attention and past issues of sexual abuse.) so it'll be curious to see what kind of men are hitting on me when I'm at 140.

You know... this is true... though I suppose even within the culture there are differences. I live in Mexico and even here the type of guy who hits on you when you're heavier changes when you're smaller. It's generally the men of lower social classes that hit on heavier women... which sounds weird but I read an article about it and they attribute it to a heavier woman having the monetary means to buy enough food to get bigger. I dunno....
Either way (to the OP) as everybody else has said... embrace it.

I've had men hit on me when I was heavier, but now it's way more noticeable and the type of guy im into actually hits on me, too.
Of course we could be offended they didn't like us when we were heavier, but honestly... I don't think I would have hit on myself at my heaviest either. There is a reason we all want to lose weight, and while the main reason would be to get healthy, nobody can deny the aesthetic reasons either.
