My beginning weight was 349 and now 5 months later I am at 254...I have been losing 10 pounds a month for the past few months and people are telling me that i should be losing more. I feel as if I should be losing more. I want to go down to 150-160 and see these next hundred pounds as such a struggle.

Will this process speed up? How did it go for you guys? Can anyone relate to me or go through what i'm going through? I have been so sad and confused and am scared to stay overweight.

thank you and i am so excited to be on this forum from now on! I just found it on google search!

WHAT??? I think you are doing super. My doctor told me the other day the goal is about 8lbs per month and if I lose more then good but he is looking for weightloss of about 8lbs average!!! Everyone's body responds differently. You are doing great. Keep doing what you are doing. Don't listen too much to "friends".

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome! Consider yourself among many, many friends now! This has been the best site that I ever found on google - and I'm sure you'll be saying the same. Wow -- almost 100 lbs already! I can only hope and wish that I'll be able to say the same. Actually, I shouldn't say hope and wish.... cause I know I'll be able to say it someday. Just taking things one day at a time - and enjoying being able to stop taking quite a few of my meds from before and feeling more energetic each day!

Looking forward to hearing more of your WOW moments - and sharing some of mine!

Count your blessings! I know what you mean though! I keep waiting for the scale to start going back up again....even though theres no reason it should! Its a total mind screw in alot of ways to lose so much so fast! You start waiting for impending failure, you start thinking you dont "deserve" it and karma is going to catch up with you etc.....
But relax hun! I have felt pretty alone in this whole process too because even though I have love and support here noone really understands what we go through. Thats why I love TT....the folks here DO understand!
You are doing awesome....take credit where credit is due and ROCK ON girl! We're your friends
