Donna, my prayers are with you and hope that this team of doctors exhaust every possible means to resolve your issues. You're a very strong woman and I trust that you will fight with all you have.

My prayers are with you and your family. I pray God takes over and takes control. I am so sorry you are going through this. Why did they not do a reversal earlier on????

Donna,
WOW I have tears in my eyes as I write this searching to be able to say something anything that can make you better. What about a reversal has anyone thought of that? I hope your team of docs can figure out what to do for you so that you gain weight, and DON'T have to talk to your kids about this. How is Michelle doing? I know that this has to be heavy on her heart as well as yours.
Please keep us updated on you. If there's anything I can do please let me know. Eat some of those yum-o beans you guys make they really have to fatten up anybody!!

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I pray they can help you, soon, before anything gets worse.

Have your docs considered TPN? Total Parenteral Nutrition? Google it - it's used more often than you might think. I would be begging for it if I were you.

I know I'm new to GBS, but Jeanie has a point. In extreme circumstances, this procedure can be reversed. I know you're frail now, but if they did TPN to get you strong enough to reverse the procedure, it seems like it might be a viable option..... but I don't know everything you're going through..... just a thought.

I think we all feel helpless to do anything for you, except offer our deepest and utmost support and love - which you have - even from us Newbies.

God bless,
Royanne

Donna... UGH... I don't even know what to say, I'm not good at writing like you! Just know that I am thinking of you and Michelle more often then you would imagine. Sending hugs and healing vibes.

Wow. You AMAZE me. You are going to make it, you have the will to fight and that says alot about who you are! The body can do amazing things if you keep your head up! I am in tears here at what you wrote about telling your children. I am so heartbroken that you have to even consider telling them your news.

I am so glad that your docs are pulling together to try to find a way to help you get better. I'm disappointed Doc Callery said he was done with you and didn't get you with the nut. Maybe they aren't the right people to help you anyway. I just hope they can get some good things into your body and you will feel stronger.

Man we have quite a few people on here right now with problems. I have each and every one of you in my thoughts and prayers. I love you guys. Just know sweetie, I love you too and I will have you in my prayers every day. You deserve to enjoy your life, hug your babies and just be able to exist without hurting. I am totally crying right now as I write this to you. Just know you mean alot to us and we want you to get better

I don't even know what to say...except that you definitely have a large group of people on TT praying that all goes well and that the doctors figure out what to do.

As a mom myself, I just want to cry for your situation. Who's to say that I couldn't be "next in line" to have alot of health issues? It's a scary thing to even contemplate...

Just remember...please, please, do not give up! For your children's sakes fight it every step of the way.
