I have a "lump"
Well just thought I would get this out there. Some of you know that I have a “lump” on my right side (kind in the hip area but higher up). I have had an ultra sound & then had to go for a CT scan. They originally thought that it was a mass of some kind either a bloody mass, or a fatty tissue mass. WELL it turns out it not that. It looks as though I have a foreign body in me. Which means more then likely something was left inside me from a previous surgery. There is a sponge count for a reason! I won’t say what doc but I will say it was NOT DR. Callery.
They want to remove it ASAP so I am waiting on the insurance to get back to the surgeon that will be removing it. I’ve been in a lot of pain the last two days, so I hope it comes out soon. I have had this pain off and on for years now but it would go away so I didn’t think anything of it. Well the pain IS NOT going away now, and I have a 13cm lump on my side.
I'm scared to be put under. I have a family now, and I don't want to leave them yet.

Good grief sweetie.
I seem to reading about these type of "oopsies" more and more. I read in a medical mag not to long ago that a woman actually had a muscle rake left in her. I personally think this all stems from insurance companies rushing things so fast and only allowing so much time for each visit/procedure.
Keep us posted honey I know you'll do just fine I'll keep you in my prayers though.
