Default So hubby and I had "the talk"....

and it went well.

I was practically unhinged about talking to hubby about me getting WLS. The conversation pretty much fell in our laps. We were flipping through channels on tv and came across Ruby and her show and began talking about it.

We started talkin about his medical issues with his wrist and the procedure the military is going to do, and my knee and the reason the doc won't operate and I segwayed into WLS from there.

He said he knew I had been thinking about it because he had seen and read the literature from my orientation meeting.

I just told him that I understand his feelings towards weight loss surgery, but this is something i've decided I need and all I want to know is that even if he doesn't agree with it, that I will have his support 100%. He said I always had his support.

anyone ever go through their old posts and read what you wrote then think to yourself "WTF was I thinking?"

I did that after my conversation with hubby. I laughed at myself. The anxiety and pain I felt at the moment was real, but now it seems so trivial because the convo went so well.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support
