After reading some of the bullshit, from obvious idiots, my advise to Laura would be to not post any updated on Julie, and keep it o PM's from the people that are interested in her progress, (or lack there of!!)

Anyone can feel free to PM me if you would like to know what I know!!

I could go back and quote some of the comments, from of them from people that experienced the same situation that Julie is facing, but it truthfully isnt worth my time, and lowering myself to the levels of the few just aint right!!

Rant over...
Baja--I am with you on this one--I have pretty much backed off except for brief things here and there--working two jobs and they wading through all the negativity is too much for me these days. Laura -- thanks for the updates

The fact that the previous thread was closed indeed did put up a red flag. My first thought was OMG... did julie DIE?!?!?!
Frequent updates would put a lot of minds at ease. All of our minds actually.
Again, call me bitch. I'm just stating what I KNOW FOR A FACT many people are thinking and wishing for.

Oh, and as for PMing for information, there many newbies and/or people that check the site and are too shy to PM and actually ask for information. A daily post with an update would put a lot of minds at ease.

(let the flaming begin)
Well first off, let me apologize, as when I read back, and I read MY words like "YOUR MONITOR" insinuating that I directed the comment at you (Duckie), rest assured, I didnt make them at YOU, I was merely using your post to explain why Julie is gone, and more than likely wont be back....

So again, my apologizes..

I will however quote one of your (Duckie) posts on another thread, read it yourself, and let us know how she would take it..

And I quote..

Shoot me, but I think she's just good at "faking" these days.

Laura... I appreciate any and all updates on Julie... She has a lot of us out here pulling for her and praying for a full recovery! She is lucky to have you as her "little sister" === and we are lucky you continue to update us!

Life on TT changes all the time. I was once one of the top posters here, but only visit from time to time now. It's not due to anything anyone has said or not said here... it's just my own personal growth and confidence... TT'ers are special to me and I truly care about the friends I've made here.... I hold you all near and dear to my heart!

Special blessings for our Jules... she needs all the support she can get!

Katie

In the past I would update and then stop because there was nothing new. Believe me when I say I know what it's like to sit here and worry and not know anything. You know what I know. There are times when she'll be sick and I don't hear from her for a couple days! Last night she called me and told me she did a half gallon of the GoLightly mouth enema, suppositories, ct scan still shows it's not a full obstruction so everyones question is: Why isn't anything going through? At this point they have tried everything availabe except for an injection that is supposed to make you poop, but that hospital doesn't have that. Her next step seems to be surgery and she doesn't have much of a choice. If she needs surgery I will be going down and staying with her. That's all I found out from her before she started throwing up more of the GoLightly and had to hang up.
OK so can they not get the shot from another hospital? To me it sounds as if the health care system is failing her big time. If she was rich or a major celeb would she be going thru this? I don't think so!
