I am totally

Why bother telling everyone that Julie was in hospital and then lock the thread?

There are a lot of people here that care about her.

Julie is still very sick. They did three 30 ounce enemas last night in a two hour time frame, each held in for 20 minutes, and not a single thing happened. There wasn't any cramping, no movement, no gurgles, absolutely nothing. Even the X-rays after showed no progress. The Dr. says, "I think something is wrong." WELL NO SHIT, SHERLOCK! I have her asking the Dr. about possible colon cancer because she matches all the symptoms, that's what killed her dad in 2002 and cancer runs hardcore in her family. Today she had a CT scan done and was going to drink another gallon of that stuff.

Julie's not in a good place right now. I don't have much more to add than what Laura did but the docs are trying to figure out the blockage, and figure out a plan of attack in consideration of the MRSA. Surgery might be her only option, but that option has great risk involved. All we really can do at this point is say a little prayer, and understand that when she feels up to it, she tries to live her life in as fun a way possible. All of her recent fun and travels have been punctuated with doctors and emergency rooms - doctors who can't seem to find any real root causes for her problems besides the common denominator of the MRSA. It's been a couple of weeks since I spoke to her on the phone myself, but Laura keeps me up to date with the goings on - I just hope that sometime very soon, Julie catches a break!

I guess my confusion lies with Kelly's. Why post.. then lock the thread? I don't understand this at all.
It has become maddening. This has been happening a lot: a post is made stating that she is near death then... nothing! We are left wondering and worrying with no information as to her progress (or lack of... poor thing!).
People care about Julie and her health. It is difficult for people to just sit and worry without information. More frequent updates would be greatly appreciated. We realize there may be no new information but an update of any sort would be helpful. I am not trying to be a bitch, just voicing my frustration and worry.

Prayers going out this morning.... right after I post this actually.

I will say a prayer for Julie also. Since I have been on this site I have grown to have a connection with Julie and really I do not know her that well. My heart goes out to her and pray that things will get better for her. GOD makes everything POSSIBLE and I believe that Julie will get through this.
