SO I stepped on the scale today and realized I was 198lbs!!! I haven't been under 200 for five years!!!! I was flabbergasted at my loss so far. WOOO!!!!!

I also noticed that I no longer need Plus sized clothes... Every article of clothing i buy no longer has X's before the size, hehe....

Wow, that's Awesome!! I can't wait to throw out all my clothes and get some new non-X clothes!! Even better when we can get clothes with only one number on the tag like 8 insead of 18!! I had surgery on the 18th and was 200.6 that morning. Went up a few pounds and haven't come down under 200 YET!! But i'm right behind ya!!!

Congrats again and keep up the good work!!!!

YAY. Congrats! You are doing WONDERFUL.

We had similar starting weights, you are a bit shorter, but your losses over the first 4 or 5 months are fabulous! Keep it up girl! :-)

Thanks guys! It's always nice ot hear congrats. Unfortuntely my friends and family all think the "weight" issue is taboo and often don't comment unless i say something first, lol.

Today I bought a shirt and two dresses that were medium... I was amazed. I also bought size 14 pants.

I realized also, that my little sister who is rail thin (and tall) only weighs 40lbs less than I do... it's crazy to me because i used to weigh 110lbs more than her... I might just catch up to her after all. My personal goal was to get below 175, which was the weight I was at before I gained (I had health problems and was on meds for years that made me gain)... It's so surprizing that so son after surgery the goal weight is already within reach/sight... I never thought I'd see the day!
