Default three years ago today

Three years ago today, my cat died. That may not seem like a big deal to some people, but I miss her terribly. I have felt so sad all day. I just don't feel like doing anything. I have a lot of work I need to be doing, but can't seem to get off the couch. I just keep thinking, three years ago, she was here.

I know how you feel. I had a cat that died about 3 years ago as well. I still miss her and when I see pics of her I get a little sad. It helps to know that she is in a better place, and no longer suffering if she was sick. She is always looking down on you.
I hope you have a better day tomorrow

My cat (the great Pumpkin) died last fall and I still haven't gotten used to it....

I still 'catch' myself expecting to see him or hear him greet me!

We are getting another kitten this summer, but I know there will never be another 'great Pumpkin'...

Pets add so much to our lives.... be kind to yourself...it's normal to mourn or grieve a missing member of the family...

We buried our 3 dogs this past year, all within 5 months, (two of them were very old, and the 7 year old had an agressive form of bone cancer). I have a 13 year old cat that I love dearly, and all I can say is I know how you feel. We have two brand new St. Bernard Puppies, and I love them too, but it doesn't take the pain away from the 3 we lost. I was telling our vet the other day how I was washing the deceased ones' collars to put away, and I just cried, and He said, You lost your whole family in 5 months, of course it's going to hurt for a long time. They come into our lives, and when they leave, they leave such a void! I'm so sorry for your loss.
