Default Walk Proud

This morning on my way to work I was reminded to walk tall, be proud and hold you head up high.

I was on my way to the freeway and was at a signal, the signal turned and a woman stepped into the crosswalk. From where I was you could only see the back of her as she crossed. Tall slender woman wearing a tank top and capris. As traffic began to move and I got closer I took notice of her (dont know why). She was prolly in her early 50's had at one time I would guess been very over weight. She had saggy flappy arms (the back arm hung down over her elbow). Yet here she was walking with a spring in her step, head held high looking cute in her outfit (tank that I would never wear). She seemed so......confident. I thought it strange that of the 10-15 people daily I see crossing streets she would stick with me.

As I got on the freeway I thought of her again. I could picture this woman in my mind. I realized I need to be more like her. We all need to me more like her. We all need to be proud of who we are and where we came from. Walk with our heads held high, confident in the fact that we are good people, that we love and deserve to be loved

So today I am going to make a conscious effort to WALK PROUD. I encourage all of you to do the same and hopefully you to will inspire someone to take notice that they are awesome too.

Thumbs up Proud

Wow that was a good post, and it made me think. When ever I walk with my head up people tend to look and smile at me more. I think it's because I look like I am proud of myself. I will try from know on to walk proud all the time!
