Default Central San Diego Support Group Tonight!

As I wrote last week, today, Tuesday, January 20, is the night for the Central San Diego Support Group.

We will meet at Michelle and Donna's house at 6:30 and will have a potluck dinner while we share our highs and lows for the previous month.

Please pm me or call me at 619-287-3217 to let me know if you are coming, and I can give you directions, as well as get an idea of how large our horde will be!

Unhappy I take it back.....

I am going to have to cancel tonight's support group. The kidney stone on the left side has been trying to pass, not caring that it's like 3 times bigger than my ureter. I'm scheduled to have the bilateral stones smashed on January 30, but I may have to call the doc a little earlier if this thing doesn't settle down.

I plan to be done with this issue by next month, so we can surely have group in February! I apologize for having to bail on this month's group!

thanks for the props, ladies! The pain has actually revealed itself to be extraordinarily huge, so I called the doc's office....No one called me back, but I figured that would happen.

Stone pain is such a shitful pain! It would be wonderful if there happened to be a cancellation for tomorrow in the lithotriptor--this level of pain is not acceptable...it is creeping up to that 10/10 on the scale. I just don't happen to have enough strong enough drugs to budge it.

I had a kidney stone once and I've never been in sooooooooooo much pain. The nurse told me if I can get thru the passing I could get thru labor with no problem. I was like yeah right. Well guess what labor didn't hurt as much as the stone and I was in labor for 15 hours. I'll take labor ANYDAY!!
With my stone I went to the ER and they gave me a "cocktail" of drugs and all though I could still feel the pain I didn't care because I was so looped up.
