Default I am stuffed

But I still want to eat and its scaring me. I had my surgery 12/7/04 with Dr. Callary. I have been doing fine with only a little gastritist(?) problem, but for the past week I am just hungry. Today starting at 9am I had, 1 scrambled egg with a pinch of shedded cheese and a pinch of bacon bits and 1 end of toast 1/2 tsp of margerine. At 10:00 I had 2 cheese sticks At 12:00 I had 1 cup of post raisin bran with 3/4 cup of 2 percent milk and I am really stuffed but I fell that I want something else and I can'f figure out why.

I call it a case of eat-en-i-tis eatenitis and it scares me. What can I do?

Is there going to be a support group meeting in the Vista/Oceanside area soon? I really need to get in one. I have been going to Weight Watchers meetings but it's really not what I need. I need to be with people that has had the WLS and has been or is going through what I am. I can't drive to Poway due to transportation (My car is really sick)

Thank You all in advance for your support and any input

Carolyn

I know this is a very personal question... BUT when are you to start your period if at all? I find around my time of the month I eat and am hungry all the time, constantly even for a good 3-5 days! Just a thought!

I go through this hungry stage more often and like you, it scares me. Like Bridget said, it usually is associated with my time of the month. I have noticed more recently, the more I work out and more calories I'm buring, I am more hungry. I'm usually hungry for carbs too. Carbs were my comfort food of choice pre-op, so this really scares me.

The munchies hit hard for me too. Thank goodness it only lasts a few days. All I want is cheese, crackers, and candy bars. Even taking one bite of meat makes me gag and my tummy upset. After the PMS/bleeding thing is over, I can eat normally again. At least my cycle is finally predictable. I have been on time by the hour for the past 3 months. It's much easier to prepare your life when you know when you'll be witchy and when you're high on your horse!

Just like the other ladies...I get this way badly before I start my period. I think it is more normal than anything. Scary but normal!

Thumbs down Eating

I have been doing this a lot lately also, and it scares the crap out of me. I keep telling myself not to do it, but in the end I do. I think I need to get some help. WOW did I just admit that??
