Father, I pray for Jenny and others in my circle of family and friends who are carrying heavy loads...

Your Word says an anxious heart weighs a person down, and this is how I think they must feel—as if they're carrying heavy loads, more than they can bear. When they feel upset and beside themselves, calm them down and comfort them with the assurance of Your love. Help them not be overwhelmed by anxious thoughts. (Proverbs 12:25a; Psalm 94:19)

In Jesus' name, amen.

Jenny, I love you for the wonderful, sweet person that you are. Im thinking of you and your family, God Bless you.--Lisa

Default Thank you for your support...

I really appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. Your words are a source of strength for me. This has been rough, the wife doesnt "choose" to recognize us or to honor my fathers death even with an obituary...it's crazy but I am moving on, back to work tomorrow.

Mike, thanks for the laugh and you are so right! If I was not married and in love with my DH, you wouldnt need my digits, Id be calling you.

What's to stop you from submitting an obituary or having a little recognition thing yourself? That woman only has the power that you give her. Take some back...and also send her a copy of whatever you do. That will piss her off!

Default Great minds think alike...

Right before I got on here I submitted the obituary to their home town paper. I wanted to place the ad in WA and CA also because he lived most of his life in those two states but it was like $100 for the ad and, well, Im broke right now...So, I went back to the hometown paper and its free and he asked for the details and I submitted it. Some feathers may get pulled out, but too bad. My uncle, whom is also shunned, is going to request my dad's medals for me from vet's administration. Thanks again. You all rock, and I appreciate all the support.

Go on with your bad self Jenny. I would have done the same thing. Then again I have been known to be pretty spiteful sometimes. Oh well, I do what makes me feel better and to hell with those who dont like it.
