Ok my fellow losers

My six month anniversary was sunday and I was so down and blue all weekend. I dont know who I am or who I think I am. Everything has changed or nothing has changed depending on what side Im standing on that day.

I dont seem to have a life. Ok maybe I do and its just not as active as I would like it to be. I have never had a great deal of friends but have always maintained a few close ones. I realized yesterday that key friends that I thought would stand by me had pulled away. I have a few good ones that have stuck with me no matter what.

I didnt expect to have men falling at my feet but a date once in a while would be nice. Men rarely notice me much less talk to me and when they do .. thats it. What is it about me? I wish someone could tell me.

I didnt expect life to change drastically but neither did I expect it to remain so much the same. I spent soo many years afraid of people that I dont think I learned or retained the skills on how to make friends or interact with the opposite sex.

Im soo lost. How do I find myself?

There was a great thread called Emotional Woes that has some helpful info on it. But as to your life totally changing, give it some more time. You are in a transition time, and your feelings are totally normal. Keep posting here, and you'll find that there are a lot of people going thru the same things.

Ya need to start hanging with your Stapler sisters!

My "best friends" pulled away too, it is their loss and I am so okay with it. Im happy that I dont have to endure their toxic personlities anymore!

My stapler sisters have become my best friends! We help each other through our funk! We remind each other how fabulous we really are and to smile!!! The staplers that I have met through support groups are guiding lights as i travel the "broken road"! Each person I met one at a time, and I invite you to join us gorgeous! I know it can be a wee bit weird to meet up with "strangers" but its only strange for a minute, trust me! So, private message me your # and lets get this show on the road! Your awesome babe, your personality os like no other, your beautiful and I want to be your friend! It would be an honor! I agree with Bridget. I have met some of the most awesome people on the this forum. Some of my closest friends I have because of here.

Come hang out with us we like you for who you are. There's always room for more stapler sista's.

I'm sorry you are feeling so down right now. I have noticed my circle of friends has changed in just 12 weeks. I feel like I have grown apart from them or just can't take their negativity anymore. This is a life changing experience all the way around. Wish I was closer so we could get together. I'm sure you'll have a blast with Bridget. I have a blast reading her posts! Please let me knoe if there is anything I can do to help you out!

My Beautiful Podmate. I know how you are feeling. I have so been feeling alot of what you are descibing. I only have 1 friend (from before, not counting the beautiful people I have meet on this forum) and things are kinda weird now. I agree with what the others said. Come hang out with us when we go out. What are you doing the weekend of June 24? Vegas baby?

ps OMG I totally forgot that yesterday was our 6 month. My appt is on fri. When are you having your 6 m check up?

Yeah six-months can you beleive it?

OMG I had my appt this morning 114 gone...oh damn im still in shock. It seems like yesterday we were walking the halls.

LOL, I barely remember the hosp stay, can you say morphine? Don says congrats and good job. So when are we all going out tp celebrate?? I'm 3 lbs away from being below 200 in I don't know how long. We rock. I can't wait to see you and see how great you are looking. You looked great before, but now, damn girl, I bet you are intimidating the guys with your stunning self.
